Thursday July 30th, 6:30 p.m. (to 8:30 p.m.) meet Thriving Forward’s Thriver Storyteller Brenda E Williams, a woman who embraced art into her life and shares her story how it impacts her life in ways she hadn’t imagined.

Brenda is from Freetown, Sierra Leone, having settled in Ottawa, created her own international non-profit organization, NewLife Project, founded April 1st, 2001. Her goal is to educate, inspire and empower children through various educational systems, empowerment forums, relief efforts and entrepreneurial programs.


Due to COVID our gatherings are currently online via Zoom.

Our Gatherings always have a Theme taken from the Blue Zone Way which contains 6 thriving centers determined from a study conducted by Dan Buettner and his team. In July we have chosen the topic of Self with the sub-topic of Developing Art Appreciation.
